Victor Osimhen's shoulder injury was aggravated by Super Eagles' medical team
They tried helping him pop it back into position but that made it worse
Napoli team reveals that he is now recuperating but still can't lift the hand properly
Napoli medical team has reportedly accused Nigerian doctors of aggravating Victor Osimhen's shoulder injury while trying to help him ease off pains.
The 21-year-old suffered a setback during the Super Eagles' disappointing 4-4 draw against lowly rated Sierra Leone in last month's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier in Benin.
He was removed in the 78th minute with Paul Onuachu taking his place for the remainder of the game having already registered his name on the scores sheet earlier in the first half.
Alex Iwobi scored twice while Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze also got on the goals' register for his country in the fixture.

According to Football Italia, the medical team of the national team made attempts to pop it back into place on the field after which he returned to Italy to see a specialist consultation.
The publication quoting Tuttosport claims that the shoulder dislocation has fully recovered, but Osimhen still can’t lift his arm properly. And this was blamed on the incorrect technique employed by the national team doctors as it was said to have inflamed a tendon in his shoulder.
This will extend his recovery time and further irritate Napoli, who are missing their star striker during a key part of the season.
