Lille have won the 2020/2021 Ligue 1 title on the final day of the season after defeating Angers 2-1, away ending PSG’s run of three consecutive wins.
It is Lille’s fourth league title and their first since the 2010/2011 season.
Going into Sunday’s fixture at Angers Lille was aware only a win will guarantee them the title which was eventually achieved.
PSG also recorded a win on the final day of the campaign, a 2-0 win at Brest which was not enough.
Both Lille and PSG automatically qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League while Monaco will go through the qualification phase.
Lyon and Marseille, who finished fourth and fifth respectively, will feature in the Europa League.
In the battle for survival, Moses Simon and Nantes ended the campaign in 18th position after losing 2-1 to visiting Montpellier.
The result means Nantes will now feature in the relegation play-off to stand a chance of remaining in the French topflight.
And for Terem Moffi and Lorient, they escaped relegation after ending the season in 16th, following a 1-1 away draw against Strasbourg.
