Two men, who had not been identified, had been arrested by the police in the premises of Sacred Heart Primary School, Isikan Akure, where two polling units were located, for parking their vehicle too close to a polling booth.
The two men drove into the premises around 2pm and parked their vehicle near a polling booth, where PDP candidate, Eyitayo Jegede had voted in the morning.
The suspects, who had a bag each strapped at their back were not allowed to speak to newsmen about their mission in the area.
They, however, said their car developed a fault.
At Ward 9, Unit 6, OSRC 1, 2, 3, Post Office, Oba Ile, Akure North Local Government Area, there was a suspected incident of vote-buying.
When The PUNCH visited the unit, it was observed that a man holding a sheet of paper and pen was ticking names some metres away from the polling booth, while some people swarm around him.
