President Buhari Reacts To Helicopter Crash In Lagos (Updated: Friday, 28th August 2020, 05:19 PM)


President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to Friday’s helicopter crash in Lagos.

The crash happened at No. 16, Salvation Road in Opebi, north of Lagos.

Acting Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office of NEMA, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirming the incident said “One person was rescued alive while two persons including the pilot died.

Buhari on Friday commiserated with families, friends and associates of victims of the Bell 206 helicopter operated by Quorum Aviation which crashed Friday into a building in Opebi, Lagos State.

The President’s condolence to families affected by the helicopter crash is contained in a statement signed by Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser.

“While the nation awaits a report of the investigation into the accident by aviation regulatory agencies, the President prays that God will console the bereaved families, grant peace to the souls of the dead and speedy recovery to the injured,”

The statement added.
