People associated with the destruction of Nigerian Embassy staff quarters in Accra, the Ghanaian capital have been captured by the Ghanaian Police.
The Criminal Investigation Department CID of the Ghanaian police discharged an announcement today which was marked by its Head of Public Affairs, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Juliana Obeng uncovering that two people have been captured.
"The Criminal Investigations Department throughout examination on Monday 22nd June 2020, captured two people engaged with the destruction of a structure on the premises of the Nigerian High Commission in Accra. The presumes engaged with the demonstration, have been accused of the offenses of Conspiracy to Commit Crime indeed; Unlawful Entry and Causing Unlawful Damage in opposition to areas 23(1), 152 and 172(1b) separately of the Criminal and different Offenses Act, 1960 (Act 29) and will be summoned under the watchful eye of court," the Police said
Review that on Tuesday, June 23, Ghanaian President, Nana Akufo-Addo, rang President Buhari and apologized over the occurrence.
Reports have it that, during the call, he additionally vowed to give the issue the necessary consideration and that the police would do an examination.
