President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday said his system had given a valiant effort to the extent battling individuals from the Boko Haram organization in the North East and aggressors in the South-South was concerned.
Buhari talked in a meeting he conceded State House journalists in the wake of joining his relatives and some top government authorities to watch the Eid El-Kabir supplications inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Buhari who reviewed that his system acquired the security challenges from the past organization, said he has given a valiant effort.
He anyway thumped security organizations on the current security challenges in the North West and North Central, saying they can show improvement over what they are right now doing.
The President stated, “I want Nigerians to be very conscious of their country and what we inherited when we came in 2015 was Boko Haram – North East and the militants, the South-South. Nigerians know that we have done our best.
“What is coming up in the North West and North Central is very disturbing indeed but I believe the military, the police, and other law enforcement agencies from the report I am getting, I think they could do much better.
“They could do much better, but we are keeping them on the alert all the time to do their duties.”
