Nigeria opens its 2021 Africa Cup of Nations campaign with a group game against Egypt.

While the Super Eagles are on a quest to win their fourth title, the Pharaohs are looking to clinch it for a record-extending eighth time.

Nigeria is unbeaten in all but one of their last six competitive games but is without a win against Egypt in any of the last six competitive matches, dating back to a 1-0 victory in 2019.

The two African powerhouses will lock horns at the Estadio Roumde Adjia.

The kick-off is 5 pm West African time.

Nigeria’s starting XI against Egypt: Okoye, Aina, Omeruo, Ekong, Zaidu, Ndidi, Aribo, Iheanacho, Simon, Chukwueze, and Awoniyi.

Substitutes: Akpeyi, Uzoho, Ebuehi, Iwobi, Nwakali, Ejuke, Umar, Onyekuru, Musa, Onyeka, Ndah and Ajayi.
