Popular comedian, Mr Macaroni, has reportedly been apprehended by the Nigerian police force.
The comedian, whose real name is Debo Adebayo, was detained by officers alongside other protesters at the Lekki Toll gate on Saturday.
The demonstration was organized by those, who are against the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to allow the Lekki Concession to reopen the Admiralty Toll Gate despite the alleged killing of protesters on October 20, 2020.
The comedian, who took part in the protest, documented his arrest in an Instagram live broadcast and he revealed that he has been placed in a police van.
