Self-acclaimed 'Mayor of Lagos' Mayorkun uncovers the music video for his most recent single "Back In Office," delivered through Sony Music Entertainment/Columbia Records UK
The debut of the music video for "Back in Office" is the continuation of the track's dispatch last week honoring the Nigerian Independence Day and starting off exercises paving the way to the arrival of his eagerly awaited sophomore album on October 29 as reported across his online media stages.
While the track exhibits Mayorkun's brand name and energetic Afropop sound with an Amapiano turn, the music video is thrilling and sees him rethought as a genuine mayor shockingly getting back to the office and being met with upbeat groups, further ending up a fitting backup to the music.
Remarking on the video, Mayorkun says; "The video for Back In Office is a unique one, we needed to go all out to film in the city of Lagos Island, telling them their Mayor is back in the office. Holler to TG Omori and his group for working eagerly on set for 2 days rejuvenating this vision."
Looking forward to the arrival of his subsequent album, Mayorkun adds; "I'm eager to at last be putting out this group of work, it's been bound to happen from my presentation album in 2018. Thankful to every individual who imparted their positive energy to me in making this venture. Ideally, everybody appreciates it however much I did while recording."
The album "Back In Office" will be accessible in computerized stores worldwide on October 29.
