Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland, has said he ‘hopes’ Chelsea is not planning to submit a £150 million bid for him this summer.
The Blues have made Haaland their top target ahead of the 2021/2022 season, with Thomas Tuchel keen to recruit a new forward.
It is also understood that Chelsea billionaire owner, Roman Abramovich, is personally driving the bid to bring the 21-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
However, any deal is likely to cost at least £150m this summer, while Dortmund is adamant that Haaland will remain with them for at least another season.
When asked about his move to Chelsea at Dortmund’s training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, Haaland told reporters: “I haven’t spoken with my agent in a month. You might have the answer.
“I am a normal person. That’s a lot of money for one person. I hope there is nothing in it.”
