England captain Harry Kane will not be joining Manchester United.
This comes after Tottenham refused Manchester City's tempting €130m bid.
In an instagram post on Wednesday, he affirmed he will spend the season with Tottenham.
“It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks. 👏⚽
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100% focused on helping the team achieve success”, he wrote.
The 28-year-old had indicated interest in joining City, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy, rejected his bid to leave the club.
Spurs also rejected two bids for the danger man, the last being a €130million offer.
Kane has three years to run on his deal at Spurs, meaning the club were in a strong position to fend off interest.
