Former Nigerian forward, Jonathan Akpoborie has reiterated that the Super Eagles have nothing to fear about ahead of the crucial clash against the Black Stars of Ghana in a 2022 World Cup qualifying playoff in Kumasi.
Recall that Ghana will host the first leg on March 25 before the reverse fixture on March 29 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja. In an interview with Completesports, the former Wolfsburg striker stated that the Black Stars will not escape defeat in Kumasi this Friday.
He noted that the Super Eagles are not be intimated by their fans and antics on match day. “The Super Eagles are poised for glory and I don’t see them falling to their West African neighbour in the World Cup playoffs.
*One thing is certain, the Black Stars of Ghana will not escape defeat in Kumasi because our players willing to rewrite history book.
” It is a tough task but I know Austin Eguavoen and the players will sacrifice everything to get the ticket.”
