Senator Shehu Sani, a former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central, has urged those who invaded the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, to return all they looted.
Recall that thugs on Wednesday ransacked the palatial residence of the monarch taking away his staff of office, regarded as the symbol of authority.
Akiolu was hauled to safety by soldiers who responded to a distress call before the assailants struck.
This following the curfew declared by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to curb the break down of law and order in Lagos.
In a post on his Twitter page, Shehu Sani begged the hoodlums who broke into the palace to return the Oba’s staff of office and shoe.
“Whoever carted away the staff of the Oba and his shoe should please respect the throne and return it,” Shehu Sani wrote.
