Lead representative Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has said that coordinators of Saturday's End SARS fight, who were captured by the police, have been delivered.
Naijakit reports that the Ogun Police Order had before affirmed that 23 people were captured on Saturday when the dissent which was intended to be quiet turned savage.
The representative of the Ogun Police Order, Abimbola Oyeyemi, revealed to Newspot that a portion of the young people were secured as three firearms, rounds of ammo and arranged charms were found in one of their vehicles.
However, Gov Abiodun, while giving update on Sunday affirmed that the kept dissent coordinators have been liberated.
On his online media handle, he stated, "I can affirm that, adhering to my guidance to the Magistrate of Police, kept dissent coordinators have been delivered from detainment."
As per Abiodun, "Opportunity of serene gathering and of discourse are the natural privileges of each Ogun State resident, as revered in the Nigerian Constitution, and since governments at all levels are guided by this, the Ogun State Government won't be an exemption."
The Lead representative had before trained the state Chief of Police, Edward Ajogun, to guarantee the brisk arrival of confined dissent coordinators.
