Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman was presidents and dictators favorite years back, now a one-off example that has been upgraded to modern Maybach is up for sale for $2.6 million.
Few of Mercedes-Benz 600’s competitors includes Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III, Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Rolls-Royce Phantom V and Bentley S3.
A 1975 Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman is currently up for sale at Auto Leitner, the same dealer that recently sold former Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi’s ultra-luxury Xenatec Maybach 57S Coupe.
The Mercedes-Benz 600 (W100) are known for being a favourite among top politicians and dictators in the 60s and 70s. But this particular example has been upgraded to feature all the modern comforts on a modern Maybach.
According to Auto Leitner, the rebuild took seven whole years — from 2007 to 2014 — and a total investment of almost €3,000,000 (approx. $3. 6 million).
Mercedes-Benz Classic and the development department of Daimler AG were involved in the complete restoration of the 600 Pullman-Maybach.
