Terry tha Rapman whose real name is Terry Terhemba Madaki is a Nigerian rapper and songwriter born on January 8, 1976.
Terry was born and raised in Lafia, Nasarawa State but originally a native of Tiv, a tribe in Benue State.

Terry tha Rapman discovered his music talent with the influences of LL Cool J, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and so on.
He started rapping in 1991 while doing shows in secondary school. After his secondary school, he started to work on a demo which gave him recognition in Kaduna through radio airplay.
He was formerly known as Terrific before he changed his name to Terry tha Rapman after which he joined the group, The Crock City Click in 1995.
The group became popular for their dem-tape which had hit songs like “Fashi” and “Tha illest”. Six foot plus heard the tape while he was in Kaduna and took it down to Lagos where they got more recognition through Lagos Radio Stations.
Just after several attempts in a period of 5 years to get a record deal, the group split due to religious crisis.
So with the Kaduna crisis in the year 2000, Terry tha Rapman family relocated to Jos. While in Jos, Terry got a call from Solo Dee, CEO Payback Tme Records who asked him to sign to the record label and the rest they say is history.
Terry tha Rapman came into the industry professionally in 2001 and has dropped numerous albums and countless number of hit songs with features from top artistes.
He has worked with the likes of Jhybo, Olamide, Charles Novia, Skales, Modenine, Pherowshuz, Bella Alubo, 2baba and so on.
Terry tha Rapman won Best Rap single for Sample remix featuring Stereoman and Pherowshuz.
