The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to Friday's deserting of the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, to the principle resistance, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), saying there was nothing newsworthy about the turn of events.
National Publicity Secretary of the gathering, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu in a short response said the decision party from the start realized he was setting out toward another gathering having surrendered his enrollment of the APC.
He said; "It has not come to us as an astonishment. We realized he had surrendered quite a while in the past in light of the fact that he surrendered his enrollment of the gathering which we have acknowledged.
"So you can't desert twice. On the off chance that he is surrendering once more, we don't know whether what he has quite recently done currently is news any more."
Senator Godwin Obaseki who was a week ago precluded from taking an interest in the June 22 Governorship Primary Election of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Edo state had from that point surrendered his participation of the decision party.
He thusly abandoned to the PDP on Friday after a progression of political pony exchanging.
